I was assigned to create a mockup demonstrating how Ibotta offers could be displayed on General Mills packaging for a back-to-school campaign. This project expanded my typical focus on digital design and gave me the opportunity to delve into print and packaging design.

Process
- Designed four unique mockups, each showcasing a different way to incorporate Ibotta offers while maintaining the brand identity of both Ibotta and General Mills.
- Focused on clear messaging, strong visual hierarchy, and effective use of space to highlight the offer without overpowering the existing packaging.
- Worked iteratively with the Sales team to refine the designs and ensure they would make a strong impression.

Results
- Delivered high-quality, client-ready mockups that provided multiple creative directions for the presentation.
- The project served as a valuable sales tool, helping our team demonstrate the potential of Ibotta’s promotions in a retail setting.

Insights
- Designing for physical packaging vs. digital experiences requires different considerations, such as material limitations, print legibility, and shelf appeal.
